One Kenya Alliance leader kalonzo Musyoka have finally agreed to join Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja after months of sitting on the fence. This latest development will see azimion za umoja change its name to Azimio One Kenya Alliance.
“The one Kenya alliance wishes to inform Kenyans that it has officially open and structured dialogue with like minded political formations namely the jubilee coalition and the ODM party. We are open to the formation of a gland coalition to be known as Azimio One Kenya Alliance.” Said wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
During the Friday evening, 25th Feb 2022 press conference, Kalonzo Musyoka noted that the coalition will be anchored by equal pillars three. The mega coalition between OKA and Azimio la Umoja will be on Monday, 28th Feb 2022.
“As announce in our earlier communication, OKA principals will on Monday the 28th Feb 2022 officially sign the coalition agreement as an affirmation of our commitment to seeing a just, inclusive and propsperous nation. Thereafter, we shall deposit the coalition agreement with the registrar of political parties.” Added Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka.
Before the press, kalonzo Musyoka was accompanied by Gideon Moi (KANU), Martha Karua(NARC Kenya) and Cyrus Jirongo of UDP party.
This came hours after ODM leader Raila Odinga was made the official Azimio La Umoja presidential flag bearer for the 9th august polls.
